International Turkish Olympiad 

 

The international Turkish Language Olympiads is a 

compettion where students from different countries

compete against each other in Turkish. So therefore

in order for the students to apply for this competition,

they must learn the Turkish language beforehand.

Within this competition, the students compete in different

titles such as: grammar, oral skills,writing essays, reciting

poems, singing songs, theatre, general culture and etc. 

 

Twelve dance groups took part in the competition. The

Tanzanian group,who performeda folk dance from the western

Thracian province of Kırklareli,came first in the final of the

folk dance competition. 

According to Todayszaman.com, an online newspaper, Turkish schools have brought great success that shaped education in Tanzania.' Top Tanzanian state officials, including President Jakaya Kikwete and Defense Minister Hussein Mwinyi, have registered their children for Turkish schools in Tanzania after seeing how successful the schools are'. Top state officials sending their children to these schools emphasise and highlights the success of the Turkish schools.
